NCMC Luncheon Lectures & Events

North Central Michigan College in Petoskey has a variety of winter and spring events on tap for the public:

January 25, 4:15-5:30pm Nursing Program Information Prospective nursing students can learn about requirements and the NCMC program.

January 25, 5-7pm Family Night at the SCRC Family fitness, food and fun for toddlers to 11 year olds.

January 27, 12pm Luncheon Lecture: Flying to Alaska/Restoring a Classic Andy Bowman talks about the plane he built and flew to Alaska and the classic airplane he and a team restored.

February 10, 12pm Luncheon Lecture: Is the Price Right NCMC professor Rod Anderson offers a bit of basic economic theory and policies that impact pricing.

February 24, 12pm Luncheon Lecture: Saving the Children John Drake describes his role in the Phillipines with abandoned children.

March 9, 12pm Luncheon Lecture: Clarinet Music from Columbia Clarinet soloist Guillermo Marin and Matthew Hazelwood, music director of the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra, discuss Mozart's Clarinet Concerto in A and music from Columbia.

March 23, 12pm Luncheon Lecture: Shipwreck Valerie vn Heest, award winning author and diver, talks about the wreck of the Lady Elgin in 186.

April 13, 12pm Luncheon Lecture: Voelker's Pond NCMC professor James McCullough share from his book, Voelker's Pond.
